Sustainability Management Programmes
 Environmental Management Programme Sime Darby Plantation's Environmental Management Programme (EMP) scrutinises the elements namely water quality, air quality, waste handling, pollution prevention, energy conservation, natural resource management and biodiversity enhancements. Each operating unit has its own EMP which details environmental objectives and action plans. The programme is carried out annually and reassessed at the management review meetings.
The EMP was developed through an Environmental Aspect Impact Identification and Evaluation (EAIIE). The EAIIE procedure is stipulated in the Sime Darby Plantation Quality Management System (PQMS).
 Safety Management Programme
The Safety Management Program (SMP) is developed through the Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC). The procedures of HIRARC are made available in the Sime Darby PQMS. Each operating unit will have its own HIRARC which consists of Safety Objectives and its action plan. The SMP is also carried out on an annual basis and will be reviewed through management unit and management review meetings. Safety Rate, Loss Time Injury, Emergency Response Procedures (ERP) and Prevention of Disease Outbreak are among the elements considered in the SMP.
 Quality Management Programme
The Quality Management Program (QMP) is developed by the management team. The quality target of Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) quality, FFB yield per hectare, Oil Extraction Rate (OER), Free Fatty Acid (FFA) and kernel quality shall be set according to the quality objectives for each financial year. The QMP is also carried out on an annual basis and reviewed through management unit and management review meetings.
